MAISON VERRE

A sculpted-glass atelier producing numbered editions and private commissions — furnace-worked, museum-placed, collected on four continents

Editions

Three editions currently hold. Each is numbered, signed at the pontil, and accompanied by its furnace record — date, team, gather count, and the annealing curve.

No. XI — Undertow

Seven vessels in graded sea-glass, each one caught mid-collapse. The form comes from letting the gather fall for exactly one count longer than is safe. Edition of 7 · furnace-worked · 41cm. Two remain unreserved.

No. X — Meridian

A line of amber running through clear crystal — one continuous thread of colour, placed in the first gather and never touched again. The line lands differently in every piece; that is the work. Edition of 9 · closed. All pieces placed.

No. IX — Vespers

Black glass with a interior of pale gold leaf, visible only when lit from behind. Made for evening rooms. Edition of 5 · closed · one piece held by the atelier and not for sale.

“You do not display a VERRE piece. You give it a room and let it hold court.”

— Interior architect, Lake Geneva residence
